For over thirty years WCCC has been providing quality education and training in more than twenty different occupational areas for people and companies throughout Maine, New England, the United States, and beyond. Our recently approved expanded mission and name change established a Liberal Studies program that has been very popular with students desiring a low cost entry into postsecondary education.

WCCC offers Associate Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates in areas of Computer Electronics, Networking, Programming, and Support Systems; Construction Technology in Residential/Commercial Electricity, Plumbing, Heating, and Welding; Early Childhood Education; Education Technician; Adventure Recreation and Tourism; Liberal Arts; Mechanical Technology in Heavy Equipment Operation, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Automotive Technology, and Engine Specialist; Marine Technology; Food & Hospitality Service including Dietary Management; Medical Assistant; Health Care Preparation; and Business Studies.

On a hillside overlooking the St. Croix River, the campus ranges over 400 acres of fields and forests and abuts the Moosehead National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is a haven to nesting eagles every year.

The Marine Technology Center is located at Deep Cove, Eastport and serves as home for the Boatbuilding Technology and the Adventure Recreation programs.

WCCC provides modern classrooms, well-equipped shops and multipurpose vessels for effective learning at both campus locations. Our goal is to provide solid technical training for industry.

The Continuing Education Division offers courses for upgrading, retraining and apprenticeship that are designed to meet the needs of the regional community. The division also sponsors community activities directly related to safety and community welfare. The College tries to meet the needs of the regional community any time a request is made that will involve at least ten people in a training situation.

Programs are offered on a part-time basis in the evenings, on weekends, off-campus or during the summer as needed to accommodate interested participants.
