York County Community College (YCCC), one of seven colleges of the Maine Community College System, is a two year public college that offers majors leading to Associate in Applied Science, Associate in Science, and Associate in Arts degrees, as well as many one year college Certificate programs. We pride ourselves on being an institution of higher learning, which offers an innovative curriculum, up-to-date technology (including a growing number of online courses), and diverse programming to fulfill the needs of students and businesses in York County, and beyond.

Degree and Certificate Programs include: Accounting, Architectural Drafting and Design, Business Administration, Computer Technology, Culinary Arts, Digital Media Technology, Early Childhood Education, Liberal Studies, Hotel/Restaurant Operations, Mechanical Drafting and Design, ParaEducation, Trade & Technical Operations, and Trade & Technical Studies.

YCCC faculty members have real life experience in their fields of expertise, in addition to academic credentials. The campus is new and facilities are expanding, classes are small and supportive, tuition is affordable, and many courses and majors are articulated for transferability to four-year colleges and universities.

Through our office of Continuing Education and Business Services, YCCC designs customized educational training courses and workshops for area businesses and industry. These programs are offered on the YCCC campus or at the work site. Whether the need is training for new hires or retraining for current employees, YCCC can develop solutions for area businesses.

YCCC also offers evening, weekend, and on-line courses as lifelong learning opportunities for adult students. These courses may provide a student with competitive edge in their professional arena or simply a personal growth opportunity. Our Continuing Education Department & Center for Entrepreneurship provides professional development, customized training and Certificate Programs such as Dental Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Cisco Networking, Real Estate Licensing and Appraisal, Paralegal and many more.

Interim President: Dr. Scott Knapp
Director of Admissions: Fred Quistgard
